Install Fonts in Ubuntu / Linux

If you are new to Ubuntu (Linux), and want to install the fonts, then here is an easy solution:

Install Fonts in Ubuntu

First you have to create a folder with the name .fonts in your user’s folder, for example,

/home/username/.fonts/

After creating the folder .fonts, simply copy the fonts files you want to install in Ubuntu.

Now you will be able to see the newly fonts installed on your machine.

If you still dont see the change, then you may restart your Ubuntu to change the effects.
